Terms of Service

1. Service Description

AltLLM provides API access to large language models (LLMs) with crypto-specialized tools and knowledge. The service includes:

  • Access to multiple AI model tiers (Light, Standard, Pro, Pro-Max, Max)
  • Crypto-specific MCP tools (price lookups, tokenomics, market data)
  • OpenAI-compatible API endpoints
  • Web-based chat interface
  • Usage analytics and billing management

2. User Responsibilities

By using AltLLM, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information
  • Maintain the security of your API keys
  • Use the service in compliance with applicable laws
  • Not use the service for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • Not attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Not share or redistribute API access without authorization
  • Pay for usage according to the published pricing

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use AltLLM to:

  • Generate malicious code, malware, or hacking tools
  • Create content that promotes violence, hate, or discrimination
  • Impersonate individuals or organizations
  • Generate spam, phishing content, or fraudulent material
  • Violate intellectual property rights
  • Manipulate markets or generate misleading financial advice
  • Process sensitive personal data without proper authorization

4. Limitations of Service

  • Availability: We strive for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows may occur.
  • Accuracy: AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies. Users should verify important information.
  • Rate Limits: Usage is subject to rate limits (default: 60 RPM, 100K TPM). Limits may be adjusted.
  • Model Changes: Underlying models may be updated or replaced to improve service quality.
  • Data Retention: We do not store prompts or completions. Usage metadata is retained for billing.

5. Crypto-Specific Disclaimers

IMPORTANT: Please read these disclaimers carefully.

  • Not Financial Advice: AltLLM provides information, not financial, investment, or trading advice. Cryptocurrency markets are volatile and risky.
  • No Liability for Trading Losses: We are not responsible for any financial losses resulting from decisions made based on information provided by AltLLM.
  • Data Accuracy: Crypto prices, tokenomics, and project information come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
  • Do Your Own Research (DYOR): Always verify information from multiple sources before making financial decisions.
  • No Endorsement: Mention of specific cryptocurrencies, projects, or tokens does not constitute endorsement or recommendation.

6. Payment Terms

  • Prepaid Credits: AltLLM uses a prepaid credit system. Credits must be purchased before use.
  • No Expiration: Purchased credits do not expire.
  • Refunds: Refunds for unused credits may be requested within 24 hours of purchase.
  • Auto-Recharge: If enabled, your payment method will be charged automatically when balance falls below threshold.
  • Price Changes: Prices may change with 30 days notice. Changes do not affect existing credit balances.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of content you input to the service.
  • Output: You may use AI-generated output for any lawful purpose, subject to these terms.
  • Our Service: AltLLM, its branding, and documentation are our intellectual property.

8. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • Upon termination, unused credits may be refunded at our discretion.
  • API keys are immediately invalidated upon account closure.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALTLLM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the portal. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
